Know that I don't start here without trepidation. It takes a certain amount of courage to have the conversation we're about to have, and I'm not sure I'm ready. They tell me they're not sure you're ready, either. At least that's one more thing we have in common.

So here it is. Kiddo, you're not in a good place. We need to take some steps to health. I'll walk with you. But we need to get up and get moving. I love you, and I can't leave you on the couch. Will you trust me? Because unless nothing changes, nothing changes. And you deserve change.
