Live like you're dying?

Dear friend,

How as my trip? Thanks for asking. Parts were great. Then there was this two day two day skid. That was awful. Turns out, when you go to Europe, the thing is that the pharmacist will give you any prescriptions you need, without a prescription. Even though my health care providers said "Well you don't have COVID" I did have Type A Influenza and a horrible case of Pink Eye in both eyes. So what did I see in Florence? This. Here is where I slept. And shivered. And ached. And missed out on everything around me. Turns out, a two to three day pity party can be had on any continent.

So in other words, I missed you. You call me off of the couch. I'll get out of bed for you. I need you in my life. I don't always remember that. So thanks. Because I don't want to waste the one trip I've got.
